CAN YOU GET THIS?

You need to be a digital health startup or project with a Switzerland connection.

Swiss-based startups (incorporated or not) are eligible. International incorporated startups can also apply if their solution fits the Swiss healthcare system and they have a concrete plan to operate there, such as a pilot or market entry.

YOUR REAL ODDS

Only 13 grants are awarded per year across all three levels: 5 at Level 1, 5 at Level 2, and 3 at Level 3.

The program runs two cohorts per year, so each cohort awards roughly 6-7 startups total. Competition is real but the small cohort size means a clear, stage-appropriate application matters a lot.

WORTH KNOWING

All three grant levels are equity-free and interest-free, and the program explicitly supports founders progressing from lower levels to higher ones over time, so applying at Level 1 can be a low-risk entry point into the program.

€250,000 upfront (SAFE or equity) plus potential follow-on up to €1.5M; one cohort of ~8 startups per year.

Pre-seed impact startups in Europe with at least one underrepresented founder can apply on a rolling basis for €250k investment plus up to €1.5M follow-on.

$75,000 per cohort (grant for nonprofits, SAFE for for-profits)
