What it takes
Submit your application online before the deadline; a PDF version is available for reference only.Several hours
Solve staff and community conduct an initial screening, then expert reviewers score solutions; highest scorers advance to the semifinalist round.
Challenge Leadership Group judges evaluate semifinalists; highest-scoring solutions become finalists, notified in February.
Finalists participate in a virtual live pitch and Q&A session, after which judges deliberate and select the Solver class.
Worth knowing
Selected Solver teams receive a $10,000 base grant plus access to a pool of over $1M in additional prize funding, and the program runs for nine months with an estimated 25-hour time commitment.
