You must be a California-based nonprofit or small business running a program in one of four focus areas: digital accessibility, assistive technology, workforce development, or communication access.

The program must operate in California or serve a California population, and it must meet at least one of Ability Central's three criteria: bold new venture, urgent need, or a fresh approach to an existing problem. Organizations with exclusively sectarian purposes or those funding capital campaigns are not eligible.
