What it takes

Submit an application to participate in the NMTC Preparation Program.

Receive preliminary assistance, including discussions about the NMTC program, eligibility assessment, and preparation of a preliminary sources and uses of funds statement.

If selected for financing assistance, demonstrate overall readiness to proceed with a financing process.

Work with Capital Link to develop tailored project deliverables such as a market assessment, financial forecast, operational plan, or similar documents.

Worth knowing

Upon completing the program, participants are submitted for priority consideration for any NMTC allocation held by Capital Fund, and Capital Link will also seek additional allocation through its network of CDEs and CDFIs.
