Your real odds
This is a rebate program, not a competitive grant, so if you complete eligible training, you qualify.
There is no selection process and no limited pool of winners. The rebate is formula-based at 4 to 10% of your annual assessment, capped at $25,000 per year, so your odds come down to whether your training meets the eligibility criteria.
What it takes
Complete eligible third-party health and safety or return-to-work training and collect proof of completionOngoing throughout the year
Fill out the CHOICES Enrollment form or Section B of your annual Employer's Payroll Report (EPR)1–2 hours
Submit the form; retain training documentation in case WCB requests verificationSame day
Worth knowing
Getting COR or SECOR certified automatically locks in the maximum 10% rebate without needing to track individual training courses, which is worth considering if your business does significant safety training annually.
