What it takes
Check that your organization and event location fall within the eligible region of Northern Ontario before applying.
Submit your application at least 16 weeks before the event date, as applications for events that have already occurred will not be considered.
After submission, NOHFC reviews your application for program guideline compliance, then gathers additional information and evaluates the project in greater detail.
The board of directors makes the final funding decision; if approved, you can claim 50% at agreement signing and the remainder after submitting the final event report, or claim the full amount after the report.
Worth knowing
A detailed proposal is not required to apply. A project officer may request additional information only when clarification is needed for the evaluation report.
