✓Organization must engage artists and the public
✓Must support Canadian arts sector
✓Must develop excellence in arts practice
Your real odds
368 organizations received support across the full Engage and Sustain program in 2023–24, which signals real volume alongside real competition.
That 368 covers both Artistic Catalysts and Artistic Institutions combined, so the pool for Catalysts alone is smaller, and no acceptance rate is published. Multi-year funding means spots turn over slowly, so fewer open each cycle than the total count implies.
