FedDev Ontario distributes only $800,000 annually across all of southern Ontario, so very few projects get funded each cycle.

The $500,000 per-project ceiling and the 70/30 cost-share requirement mean competition is concentrated among established Francophone organizations that can cover 30 cents of every dollar. Your project also has to demonstrate activity beyond your existing operations and any work already receiving funding.
