Worth knowing
For geothermal systems, using a Manitoba-manufactured heat pump adds an extra 7.5% credit on top of the base credit, and stacking these can noticeably increase your total claim. Manitoba-based manufacturers also qualify for a separate 7.5% credit on qualifying heat pump sales.
