CAN YOU GET THIS?

You must be a healthcare startup under 5 years old with less than $8M raised.

There are four pitch tracks: general healthcare, women's health, health equity, and AgeTech. The AgeTech track requires at least an MVP; all other tracks share the same age and fundraising cap.

YOUR REAL ODDS

Highly competitive: judges have included a16z, General Catalyst, Google Ventures, and Khosla Ventures, drawing strong applicants from across healthcare.

The 2025 event crowned 10 category winners across tracks including AI, diagnostics, and women's health. The main HLTH USA Pitch winner takes $25,000; other track winners earn conference passes and platform features rather than cash.

WORTH KNOWING

Winning a sub-track (health equity or women's health) earns you a spot in the main HLTH USA Pitch Competition, so applying to a category track can be a lower-competition path onto the main stage.

TechRise Chicago Grants
