What it takes
Host organizations apply first. Host applications opened February 3, 2026 and closed February 28, 2026.
After host projects are reviewed and finalists selected, students apply to be considered for a specific host project.
Top student candidates are interviewed by NCRC and by the host organization.
NCRC and the member organization jointly select the student fellow, then NCRC onboards the member and student before the fellowship begins.
