What it takes
Submit an application during the open window (applications opened July 20 and closed August 10, 2026).
If selected as one of five companies per semifinal, deliver a 7-minute pitch at the relevant industry-focused semifinal event.7 minutes for pitch, 5 minutes for Q&A
Semifinal winners advance to the PitchMI Championship in April 2027 to compete for the $1 million prize.
Winners undergo a due diligence period before any prize or investment is awarded.
Worth knowing
Applications are reviewed on five criteria: founding team, market potential, product or technology differentiation, traction, and business model.
The sponsor may share applicant information with co-investors who may invest alongside them.
