CAN YOU GET THIS?
YOUR REAL ODDS
Not every registered business in an affected area receives a grant — if demand exceeds available funds, grants are randomly allocated.
The number of grants per disaster depends on region size, disaster impact, and remaining annual funds. Businesses not selected in one disaster remain in consideration if another disaster hits their community.
WHAT IT TAKES
Complete the FedEx Emergency Preparedness Checklist — 5 minutes
Register your business on the R4R portal — 10 minutes
If a qualifying disaster hits, submit the grant application with proof of loss, W-9, and bank details — 1-2 hours to gather documents
Complete two post-grant impact reports if awarded — Ongoing — at 6 weeks and 1 year after receiving funds
WORTH KNOWING
Registration must happen before any disaster strikes your area — the program explicitly cannot be entered retroactively, so registering now costs nothing and keeps you eligible for any future qualifying event.
