Why Black Women?

For decades, Black women have been a driving force within popular culture. We understand what our community needs and we've created successful businesses across every industry in response. We've taken scraps and with a little bit of creativity and unshakeable grit, we've now emerged as the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the United States.

Despite our success, Black women are not reaping the financial benefits. We're earning less and we are consistently overlooked by investors and other funding resources. The Well Work Foundation is closing that wealth gap through our grant programs.

Black women sustain our culture, now it's time to use our resources to sustain Black women. Join us on our mission to fund and support 1,000,000 Black women founders.

Because we are the entrepreneurs of the future.

THE WELL WORK PRESENTS

UnderFUNDED Black Founder Grant Program

In response to the racial justice protests during the summer of 2020, the diasporic Black community received an outpouring of public support and donations from peers and allies.

The Well Work has set out to ensure that the support is not only felt during times of peril but remains continuous and impactful. Their mission is to advance the fastest-growing entrepreneurial group in the US: Black women.

This is why we are thrilled to announce the launch of our in-house Biannual Grant, UnderFunded, for Black women and non-binary founders!
