What we collect
When you subscribe or buy something Your name, email address, and business name if you give it. Payment details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
When you join our email list Your email address, and your first name if you give it. If you use the eligibility filter on a guide page, we may record the identity, stage, and region you selected so we can send you relevant opportunities.
When you use the site Standard analytics data: pages viewed, time on page, referring source, approximate location from your IP address, browser and device type. We use Google Analytics for this.
When you email us Whatever you write to us, so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.

Legal basis
If you are in the UK or EU, we process your data on these bases: to perform our contract with you when you subscribe, with your consent when you join our email list, and for our legitimate interests in running and improving the business.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with funders, advertisers, or other companies for their own marketing.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
If you subscribe to our list, we send funding opportunities, product updates, and occasional promotions. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it promptly.
If you enter your email at checkout and tick the promotional consent box, we may email you about completing your purchase. You can opt out at any time.
Paying subscribers receive transactional emails about their account, billing, and access. These are not marketing and cannot be unsubscribed from while your subscription is active.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site will stop working if you do.
We do not run advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers at this time. If that changes, we will update this policy.
How long we keep it
Account and billing records: as long as your account is open, then up to 7 years for tax and legal reasons
Email list data: until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record so we do not email you again by mistake
Analytics data: according to our Google Analytics retention setting, currently 14 months
Support emails: up to 3 years

If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable third-party providers. Payment data never touches our systems.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children
Our products are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers are largely US-based. If you use the site from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will email subscribers.
