What it takes
Write and submit a short proposal including a 12-page form, a pitch deck of up to ten slides in PDF, and a video pitch of up to three minutes.Feedback within approximately 4-6 weeks.
If invited, prepare and submit a full proposal including a 20-page form, pitch deck, implementation plan, financial information, Letters of Intent, FTO analysis, and a 3-minute video pitch.Results within 8-9 weeks of the batching date.
If top-ranked after remote evaluation, pitch your innovation in a face-to-face interview with the EIC Jury.Results within 2-3 weeks after the interview week.
If selected, sign the Grant Agreement for grant-only funding or enter due diligence for the investment component of blended finance.Investment component decided within 2-6 months.
Worth knowing
Applicants who score at least 13 out of 15 at the remote evaluation stage but are not selected for funding receive a Seal of Excellence to help secure funding from other sources.
The EIC particularly welcomes applications from startups and SMEs with female CEOs.
