What it takes
Obtain a Participant Identification Code (PIC) on the EU Funding & Tender Portal before applying.
Submit the Stage 1 online application form on the Monday platform, presenting your innovation concept, TRL 7 maturity, and preliminary market, IP and regulatory considerations.
If selected at Stage 1, use the EUR 20,000 lump sum to develop a Business Development Plan covering market validation, IP and regulatory mapping, and a commercialisation strategy, then submit it with the Stage 2 full project proposal.
For Stage 2, form a consortium of two to three independent legal entities including a mandatory commercialisation project partner, and submit the full proposal with budget plan, Gantt chart, Business Development Plan, and due diligence documents.
Worth knowing
Stage 2 funding reimburses up to 70% of eligible project costs, with the remainder covered by the applicant or consortium members through own resources or other eligible non-EU sources. Financial sustainability is embedded through Revenue Sharing or SAFE mechanisms.
