What it takes
Prepare project details including title, logline, summary of up to 1500 characters, and current status, along with an artist statement of up to 1800 characters.
Submit director bio, contact information, resume or CV, and Vimeo links to two directorial work samples. Each sample must be an original standalone work directed by the applicant, completed 2017 or later, under 40 minutes, and submitted as a Vimeo link.
Upload key creative materials: a screenplay of up to 12 pages for narrative projects, or a treatment of up to 10 pages for documentary projects, plus an optional pitch deck.
Upload a line-item project budget and financing plan, a production timeline showing plans to complete production by September 2027 and post-production by March 2028, and an outline of mentorship and distribution goals.
Worth knowing
Winners must use the Panavision camera package provided, exclusively, for all practically shot footage, and must use OWC storage hardware throughout production.
Grant-winning films must be hosted exclusively on Vimeo.com for at least six months after release.
