Terms of Service
The Well Work, Co. Last updated: August 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of thewellwork.co and the products sold through it, including The Well Work Funding Database and The Six-Figure Grant Lab. By subscribing or purchasing, you agree to them.
1. What we provide
The Well Work Funding Database is a subscription product that gives you access to a searchable, filterable collection of funding opportunities, including grants, fellowships, accelerators, pitch competitions, CDFIs, and venture funds. Each listing includes a guide covering eligibility, competitiveness, and application requirements.
We update the database regularly and remove opportunities that are no longer accepting applications. We do not guarantee that every listing is current at every moment, and you should always confirm details on the funder's own site before applying.
2. What we do not provide
We are not a funder, and we do not award money.
We do not guarantee that you will qualify for, apply successfully to, or receive any funding from any opportunity listed. Eligibility decisions belong to the funder alone. Nothing in the database or its guides is a promise of funding, and nothing we publish should be treated as legal, financial, or tax advice.
Our guides summarize information published by funders. We work to keep them accurate, but funders change their criteria without notice, so the funder's own page is always the authority.
3. Your account
You need an account to access the database. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for everything that happens under your account.
Your subscription is for you or your organization. Do not share your login, and do not resell, republish, scrape, or redistribute the contents of the database. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
You must be at least 18 to subscribe.
4. Pricing and billing
Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until you cancel. Payment is processed by Stripe, and by subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method each period.
If we change our pricing, existing subscribers continue at the price they signed up at unless we tell them otherwise in advance.
If a payment fails, we may retry it. If it keeps failing, we may suspend access until the balance is settled.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing hello@thewellwork.co.
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until then. We do not charge you again after that.
6. Refunds
We offer a full refund within 7 days of a charge. Email hello@thewellwork.co and ask.
If we issue a refund, your access ends immediately rather than at the end of the billing period.
The 7-day window applies to every charge, including automatic renewals. If a renewal caught you off guard, email us within 7 days and we will refund it and close the subscription.
After 7 days, charges are final. If something has gone wrong, email us anyway and we will look at it.
7. Your content and your data
Anything you submit to us, such as your email address or business details, is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
We may use aggregated, anonymized information about how the database is used to improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Our content
The database, the guides, the site, and everything else we publish belong to The Well Work, Co. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them while it is active. It does not transfer ownership of anything.
Funder names, program names, and their own published materials belong to those funders.
9. Organization and Enterprise Use
Subscriptions are licensed to one individual for personal use. If you're using the Funding Database on behalf of an organization, or using its content for business purposes, including newsletters, social media posts, published lists, client deliverables, or team research, you need an Organization License. To request one, email hello@thewellwork.co.
Using the Funding Database or its content for organizational or commercial purposes without an Organization License is a breach of these Terms. If this happens, we may suspend or close the account immediately without a refund (see Section 11), require that any republished content be removed, and invoice the applicable Organization License fee for the period of unlicensed use.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the database available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the site down for maintenance, and third-party services we rely on may fail.
We may change, add, or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Well Work, Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the database, including lost funding, lost revenue, or lost time.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
12. Termination
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, share your login, redistribute our content, or use the service in a way that harms us or other subscribers.
If we close your account for a breach, we are not obliged to refund you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
15. Contact
